Lancing-based flute ensemble Home and Away has organised a young talent show, which will feature local musicians and other acts from the surrounding area.

The Home and Away team hope to raise enough funds to send a cow to an orphanage in Uganda.

Along with charity, Living Hope Ministries, the team was able to provide a cow last year to one of two orphanages that neighbour each other.

To fund the second cow, coordinator of the flute ensemble, Patricia Enticknapp, has brought together young talent to perform at Sompting Village Primary School in White Styles Road on Saturday March 28, 4pm.

The free event will include cream tea and all are welcome to come along.

Donations on the day will help towards the £800 goal that the team need to achieve in order to buy and deliver another cow to Uganda.
