Overnight roadworks to continue on M23

There will be more lane closures and speed restrictions on the M23 and A23 this month as work continues on carriageway improvements.

On Sunday May 10, between 8pm and 6am, there will be a 40mph speed limit in place on the London-bound carriageway of the A23 between Pease Pottage and to Handcross. This is while engineers carry out pavement investigations.

For three nights from Wednesday May 6 lane closures will be in place from 8pm to 6am on the London-bound carriageway between the M25 and junction nine for Horley and Gatwick. There will be a reduced speed limit of 50mph.
