Feba Radio accountant Roger Wolstencroft and accounts administrator Narciso Baldo, known as Ciso, covered 10½ miles of unrelenting terrain, facing 22 man-made obstacles and plenty of mud.

They took part in Tough Mudder in Crawley on Sunday to raise money for the charity, based in Ivy Arch Road, Worthing.

Roger has completed Tough Mudder once before but it was Ciso’s first time.

“It certainly makes a change from our day jobs with calculators and spreadsheets,” said Roger.

He said they had to ‘muster every bit of energy and determination’ to finish the course but the sponsorship was great motivation.

Feba is a Christian charity working with local partners using life-giving media in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.

Roger explained: “At Feba, we believe that radio and other audio media can be used to bring lasting change to individuals and communities.

“Whether it’s broadcasting hope and encouragement to persecuted Christian believers, providing radio communications as a critical resource for disaster-affected communities, or sharing key health education messages, people’s support can help communities in need with media.”
