Parish assembly is coming back to Battle

This year’s meeting will take place in the Battle Memorial Hall on Wednesday May 14, with refreshments from 7 pm.

As always, in preparation for the event Battle Town Council will be circulating to every household a copy of its Annual Report, together with full details of the Assembly itself.

This is not only the opportunity to hear from county, district and town councillors about what has been happening in the local area but for residents to put questions to those councillors.

Rather than an open forum the assembly will repeat the structured ‘Question Time’ session which has proved popular and successful in the last two years.

In response to requests from several organisations to promote their activities, arrangements are also being made for table displays.
