Park’s bid to reunite lost bunny with its family

Drusillas Park has launched an appeal to find the owner of a well-loved bunny which was left at the zoo last week.

The white bunny, with grey ears and a pink nose was discovered on Sunday, November 15. Since then, staff have been trying to reunite the runaway rabbit with his family and have put out a plea on their Facebook page.

The post received nearly 1,000 shares in the first 24 hours but so far no one has come forward to reclaim their floppy-eared friend.

Managing Director, Christine Smith, said: “We are really hoping to reunite the gorgeous bunny with his humans. We think someone will be very sad to have lost him; he looks so well loved and cared for it is just too heart-breaking not to help him find his home.

“Please help us by sharing our Facebook post using the hashtag #runawaybunny. However, if his family do see this plea, please do not worry – we are taking great care of him. He is having a lovely time here, exploring the park and hanging out with his new furry friends.”
