Parking problem tops Pagham's issues list

Problem parking has topped the list of priorities of the first Pagham neighbourhood management forum held by the police.

The forum's members, drawn from the community, agreed vehicles parked around the Tesco Express store along Pagham Road and the nearby Inglenook Hotel was the matter they most wanted tackled by the police.

Police community support officer Bill Prior was told speeding in Cardinals Drive and Sea Lane should also be discouraged.

He said the speed indication device would be used to warn motorists to slow down.

The third of the priorities was said to be raising awareness of Neighbourhood Watch by delivering leaflets in areas of low coverage.
