There are already members from Littlehampton in the west to Southwick in the east, and north as far as Arundel and Pulborough.

Now, the volunteers want to offer their valuable support for people with Parkinson’s in the area around Washington and Ashington.

A meeting has been arranged at Washington Memorial Hall, School Lane, Washington, on Saturday at 10am.

Rod Herod, member and volunteer, said: “The aim of the meeting is to establish the level of interest that exists in setting up a sub group to the Worthing branch and to generally provide a discussion forum for people with Parkinson’s, their carers and families and any other interested parties. Refreshments will be provided.”
