Past Times event helps local good causes

FOURTEEN local charities and good causes benefited from his year’s big Rural Past Times even which raised more than £5,000.

On Friday November 22, Rural Past Times held a presentation evening at Sedlescombe Village Hall.

Pett Rescue Boat and the Oliver Curd Trust were among those to benefit.

The hugely popular event took place at Pestalozzi, in Sedlescombe in August.

The charities who each received £400 were:- Demelza, Kent Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance, Macmillan Nurses, Cancer Research UK, Hastings Street Pastors, Charity For Kids, Westerleigh Judokwai, 1066 Specials, Oliver Curd Trust, Friary Gardens, Crossroads, R.A.B.I, Pett Level Rescue Boat and MOPP Fairlight.
