Peace Week hailed a huge success

The first of the initiatives, organised by Bognor Regis-based group Peace Works to unite different communities and age ranges, saw a selection of events take place around the town.

Arun District Council chairman Cllr Ashvin Patel, who attended some of the occasions, said: "Peace Week was designed to bring all members of the Arun community together to celebrate the diversity of cultures we have in our district.

"It was also a great chance for residents to meet and socialise with different groups of people, and find out more about them. The week has gone really well and I hope this is something that will continue to evolve."
