CHRISTMAS MARKET: Peacehaven Town Council Christmas Market Saturday December 3 at Community House and Meridian Centre Mall, 9am to 3pm. Entertainment and refreshments and lots of stalls. Santa will also be visiting during the event and will spend some time in his grotto.

PEACEHAVEN PLAYERS: This year’s Panto is Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Meridian Centre, Peacehaven. Performances are on December 7, 8 and 9 at 7.30pm and December 10 at 2pm and 6pm. Tickets are available at various prices by going on the web site www.peacehavenplayers.co.uk (no booking fee) or telephone 01273 681861.

SATURDAY CHARITY MARKET: Tomorrow the market will be organised by Peacehaven Scouts.

COFFEE MORNINGS: This week the coffee mornings will be organised by: Monday and Wednesday, Sussex Pet Rescue; Tuesday, Lyn Mills; Thursday, Wendy Veck; Friday December 2, St Lawrence Church.

COMMUNITY CAFE: Now open six mornings, in the foyer, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tea, coffee, egg, bacon, sausage sandwiches and cooked breakfasts available. Run by local charities. Monday and Wednesday morning the community café is organised by Sussex Pet Rescue.

KNOW DEMENTIA: Memory moments café. Everyone welcome, especially those with memory problems and their family supporter. Every Friday from 10am to 1pm, Anzac Room, Community House. Meridian Centre.

CINEMA: The next film at the Peacehaven cinema will be Inferno on Wednesday December 21 at 7.30pm, Main Hall, Community House, tickets £5 from the Information Office.

LOCAL CRAFTER’S FAYRE: There will be a sale of crafts in the Anzac room tomorrow, Saturday, from 8.30am to noon, free entry. There will also be a tombola in aid of Sussex Pet Rescue.
