BURNS NIGHT: Tickets at £12.50 are on sale from the Information Office. The evening, in aid of Brighton Housing Trust (for the homeless) guarantees an evening to remember. To be held in the Main Hall, Community House, Meridian Centre. The evening includes Scottish Dancers, Piper and a three course meal. Mayor, Cllr Robert Robertson, hopes the event on Saturday January 23, will be a sell-out. For further details please contact 01273 585493.

PEACEHAVEN ON SPECIAL OFFER: The Company’s production of Peacehaven on Special Offer written by Suzi Hopkins and directed by Stephen Israel will be staged on Saturday February 27 at 7pm, in the Main Hall, Community House, Meridian Centre. Tickets priced at £6.50 are on sale now from the Information Office.

COFFEE MORNINGS AND MARKET: From Tuesday, Sussex Pets Rescue; Thursday, Wendy Veck; Friday, Harlequin Dance and Drama. The community café will be open every morning from the week commencing January 19. We are looking for charity organisations to run the café during some afternoons. Peacehaven Residents Association will manage the café Thursday afternoons.

HEALTHY COOKIING: A free course aiming to educate people around the arts of Healthy Cooking, while on a low budget. The sessions shall take place on January 20 and 27 and February 3 in the Main Hall, Community House. All welcome. Come along and learn to prepare healthy and nutritious food that you can take home and enjoy.

COUNCIL MEETING: Full council will meet in the Anzac Room, 7.30pm Tuesday.
