DESPITE suffering a cold on the day, Freddy Mouland did Peacehaven Community School proud when he carried the Olympic torch in the Brighton relay.

The third runner of the morning on Tuesday, he popped into school afterwards and said he had thoroughly enjoyed his once in a lifetime experience.

Freddy, 12, plays rugby and football for the school and his nomination said he showed determination in all aspects of life and strives for success at all times.
