Come and help: make our church look beautiful for Easter! On Saturday 15th April men and women, young and old, will be sweeping and dusting and polishing from 10.00 am to 11.30 to make sure everything is shiny and bright for Easter Morning. Please come and help – we shall all be pleased to see you!

FREE ROVTE COURSE: “Time to unwind – Exercise your mind” Wednesday 19th April and 26th April 10.00 am to 12.15 A free 5 week course for adults – refreshments included and everyone is welcome, not just from Peasmarsh but also from the surrounding villages, so why not come along and bring a friend even if they don’t live in Peasmarsh as this course is open to all and it’s FREE. Hall of Crafts: Sunday 23rd April 11.00 am to 5.00 pm. There will be some of our regular stall holders as well as new ones, and, of course, there will be the usual snack bar serving a range of sandwiches, burgers and cakes.

Peasmarsh Playspace Project: If you have children who use the playspace and are interested in the progress of this project and would like a say in the choice of equipment, join us at 3.00 pm on Thursday 20th April at the pavilion. Please note that the April Coffee Morning will be on Saturday 29th April – not as previously advertised – and will be held at the Pavilion at the Maltings from 10.30-12 noon. WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

COUNCIL ELECTIONS: The Memorial Hall will serve as the polling station for the County Council Elections on 4th May.

RYE 10 ROAD RACE: THE 6TH running of this race, in aid of hall funds, is taking place on Sunday 29th May from Jempson’s car park at 10.00 am. As always VOLUNTEERS are needed. Contact David or Hilary on 01797 230205 for more information or to volunteer.

MAY DAY CONCERT & CANDLELIT SUPPER IN PEASMARSH CHURCH: The Eusebius Quartet will perform Haydn, Bartok and Schumann in a programme commencing at 6.30 pm on Monday 1st May. This will be followed by a candlelit buffet supper. There will also be a bar. Tickets: Concert £15.00.
