QUIZ NIGHT: The Quiz night is being held tomorrow evening (Saturday October 10) at 7.30pm. Entrance is £5.50 per person which includes a ploughman’s supper; bring your own drinks. Please come along and join the fun, it’s always a good night out!

PHONE PROBLEMS: As you will have seen in this month’s Peasmarsh Periodical, several people in the village have been having trouble with their phone lines recently - if you have been affected and are still having problems please contact David Pankhurst, Peasmarsh Parish Council chairman, on 230205 and he will add you to the list of affected numbers.

DOCTOR’S SURGERIES: The surgeries for October will be held on Tuesdays 13 and 27, from 11.30 am; pre-booked appointments only.

FILM CLUB: The next meeting of the Film Club will be on October 16 at 7.30pm, further details can be obtained from Hilary on 230205.

AMICUS HORIZON MEETING: There will be a meeting at the Memorial hall on Wednesday October 21 from 3.30 until 6.30 where Amicus Horizon will be unveiling their new plans for the redevelopment of The Maltings including the demolition of 6 bungalows - please go along and make your views known.

ATTIC AND COLLECTORS’ FAIR: This month’s Fair will be held on October 18, from 10am until 3pm, all welcome - come along and grab a bargain.

INDOOR MARKET: This will take place over the weekend of 24 - 25 October at the hall, doors open at 10.30am.

HARVEST FESTIVAL & LUNCH: This Sunday, October 11 there will be a service of Harvest Festival at Beckley church at the later time of 11am, followed by a hot Harvest Lunch which costs £7.50 for adults and £5.00 for children. There may be some tickets still available for the lunch; please contact Jenny Als on 230324 if you are interested.
