CRAFT MARKET: This will be taking place at the hall over this weekend - September 26-27, opening at 10.30am. There will be a wide variety of stalls with lots on offer, well worth a visit!

QUIZ NIGHT: The first Quiz of the Autumn will take place on Saturday October 10, 7.30pm at the Memorial hall. Entrance is £5.50 which includes a Ploughman’s Supper, bring your own drinks. Quiz Nights are a lot of fun, you can come with a team of up to 8 or simply join one on the night!

PEASMARSH MEMORIAL HALL: There are so many groups running at our hall each week, from Brownies and Guides to Flower Arranging, Singing for Fun, Zumba, Mothers and Toddlers, Quiz Nights, Film Nights and a Film Club. PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT ORGANISATION: A reminder that the Rye and District Lions Club have arranged with the Prostate Cancer Support organisation to provide a free PSA blood test for men from Rye and surrounding villages to assess their risk of any prostate problems. They will be holding an all day free test event in Rye for men between the ages of 45 and 75 at Tilling Green Community Centre on Saturday October 10. It is essential to book an appointment by ringing 01797 253899 between 9am and 6pm, or by email to [email protected].

HARVEST LUNCH: There will be a special Harvest Lunch at All Saints’ church, Beckley after the Harvest Festival service on Sunday October 11. This service will start at the later time of 11am; tickets are available from Diane Marsh on 260596 or Jennifer Als on 230324.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday September 27 both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley church.
