FLEA MARKET: There will be a Flea Market and Collectors Fair at the hall on Sunday September 20, 9am until 2pm, contact Trevor on 230568 to book a table or for more information.

ARTS AND CRAFTS FAIR: The next Arts and Crafts Fair will be held on Saturday and Sunday 26 and 27 September at the hall, 10.30am until 4pm.

DOCTOR’S SURGERIES: There will be 1 more surgery held at the Memorial hall in September - Tuesday 29. Please book your appointment through the Rye Medical Centre.

THE BARLEYCORNS: The Barleycorns are a small group of children of primary school age from Peasmarsh and Beckley who meet up once a week to practice some hymns and learn how to ring handbells for the Family Services held in our churches monthly. They also take an active part in special services like the Pet Service and the Toy Service. If there are any children interested in joining The Barleycorns and would like more information please contact Jenny Als on 230324.

PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT ORGANISATION: Rye and District Lions Club have arranged with the Prostate Cancer Support organisation to provide a free PSA blood test for men from Rye and surrounding villages to assess their risk of any prostate problem, including prostate cancer.

They will be holding an all day free test event in Rye for men between the ages of 45 and 75 at Tilling Green Community Centre on Saturday October 10. It is essential to book and appointment by ringing 01797 253899 between 9am and 6pm, or by email to [email protected].
