QUIZ NIGHT: The Memorial hall was really busy last Saturday evening for the first Quiz Night of the year - 60 people packed into the hall for an evening of competition and fun! Everyone had a great time; congratulations to the winning team and many thanks to Gina and Damien for running the Quiz (particularly as Gina wasn’t feeling too well!) and to all the people who help to make these evenings such a success. The next Quiz will be on March 14, put the date in your diaries now!

LINDY HOP CLASSES: Tuesdays in January mean Lindy Hop classes at the hall, in aid of The Oliver Curd Trust! 7-9pm, classes are suitable for beginners, £5 including tea and cake. For more information contact Leah on 01797 226 041.

FLEA AND COLLECTORS MARKET: The next Flea and Collectors market will be held this Sunday January 18 at 9am at the hall. This market has proved very popular, go along and grab yourself a bargain!

PEASMARSH SURGERY: The next surgery at the hall will be on January 20, at 11.30am. If you want an appointment you must book it through the Rye Medical Centre. Surgeries will be held every couple of weeks, please phone Rye Medical Centre for more information.

FILM NIGHT: On February 7th there will be a showing of ‘What we did on our holiday’ with David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly. Doors open at 6.45, film starts at 7.30; tickets cost £5 which includes refreshment. Tickets are available in advance from Hilary on 230205.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday January 18 there will be a service of Holy Eucharist at Peasmarsh church at 10am. On Sunday February 1 there will be a Family Service at Beckley church at 4pm to say thank you and farewell to Fr. Bill Dolman, all welcome.
