CHRISTMAS FAIR: Thank you to everyone who came along to the Christmas Fair at the Memorial hall on Saturday, it’s always great to see the hall full of people having a good time! The hall was looking festive and Santa’s Grotto seemed popular - thank you to all the people whose hard work and planning made it possible.

FLEA MARKET AND COLLECTABLES : This Sunday December 14th there will be a Flea Market and Collectables Fair at the hall - last month there were 20 tables of stuff to browse, come along and support this monthly fund raiser for the hall!

PEASMARSH CHRISTMAS SANTA: We’re nearly there! If you would like your child or children to receive a door knock and gift from Santa and his elves this year please wrap a small present with your child’s name on and deliver it to Kelly Cosens at 14 The Old Hop Gardens with a £5.00 donation per family. All money raised will be going to three very deserving charities.

CAROL SINGING : The Peasmarsh ‘Singing for Fun’ group will be singing Christmas Carols outside Jempson’s in aid of The Blue Cross at Northiam on December 17 from 2pm until 3pm - please go along and give them your support.

LUNCH CLUB: The next Lunch Club will be on January 5 2015, please book your place by Saturday January 3 with Jenny Als on 230324.

RECREATION GROUND: Look out for a letter coming through your door in the New Year regarding the children’s playspace which is in need of some repairs and replacements. Hopefully we can get a group together to work on fund raising and helping to refurbish this important village facility.

THE MARSH WARBLERS: The Marsh Warblers will be at Peasmarsh church this Saturday December 13 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7 which includes refreshments and are available from Audrey Dent on 230050 or Jenny Als on 230324 or at the door.

CHRISTMAS CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday December 14 there will be a service of Holy Communion at 10am and a Christingle Service at 4pm, both at Beckley church. On Sunday December 21 10am Holy Communion and 6.30pm Parish Carol Service, both at Peasmarsh church. On Wednesday 24 December, Christmas Eve, there will be a service of “Midnight” Holy Communion at both churches,11.30pm. On Christmas Day there will be a Family Service with Holy Communion at Peasmarsh Church at10am.
