SHOEBOX APPEAL: Sue Cavilla would like to say a big thank you to the children, their parents and staff at Peasmarsh School for their support for the Charity Link to Hope shoebox appeal. Every shoebox will make such a difference to the families and elderly people who receive them. Special thanks also must go to the Villagers who responded to this appeal and who were so generous in their Support. Thank you everyone who filled a shoebox.

QUIZ NIGHT: The next Quiz Night at the hall will be on Saturday November 8. As usual, teams of up to eight members or come along and join a team on the night. Entrance is £5.50 which includes a ploughman’s supper, bring your own drinks. These Quiz Nights are always fun, all welcome.

OLIVER CURD TRUST: There will be a Christmas party at the Ball Room of the George Inn in Rye on December 12 2014 in aid of the Oliver Curd Trust. Tickets are £20 and include a disco, buffet, and a raffle ticket. Sounds like a great night out for a good cause!

CHURCH SERVICES: There will be a service of Holy Eucharist at Peasmarsh church this Sunday November 2 at 10am. The following Sunday, Remembrance Sunday, there will be a service at Peasmarsh church at 9.45am and one at Beckley church at 11am.
