MACMILLAN COFFEE MORNING: This is being held at the hall today, 11am - 2pm! Coffee, Cake, Games, Jumble Sale, Tombola, Lucky Dip and much more!! Fantastic Raffle Prizes up for Grabs! All welcome - Please come along with your friends and help us raise as much as possible for this fantastic Charity .

CHARITY PAMPER NIGHT:T he Pamper Night also takes place today (Friday) at the hall - amongst other things there will be Aloe Vera products, reflexology, Indian Head Massage, tarot, Reiki & medium reading, spray tanning, waxing, nails, handmade cards & jewellery, Body Shop and Avon. This event is being held by The Oliver Curd Trust and will be raising money for BACE - Bone and Cancer Research; it starts at 7pm and tickets are £3 which includes a drink and nibbles.

FILM NIGHT: Tickets for the Film Night on October 11 (Philomena) are available from Hilary 230205 or Jennifer Als 230324.Tickets are only £5 and include a glass of wine. If enough tickets are not sold in advance the event will have to be cancelled and ticket money will be refunded.

BINGO : The next Bingo session at the hall will be on Monday September 29 at 2.30pm.

BUS SERVICE: A reminder that there is a consultation questionnaire about the proposed changes to our bus service available to complete in the library in Rye; there is a link to it on the East Sussex County Council website, or if you would like a hard copy to complete please ring Jenny Als on 230324 for one. The closing date for this consultation is September 28 so please do it before it’s too late!

NOTICE BOARDS: Don’t forget to keep an eye on our new Notice Boards as they are an excellent way of keeping up with events happening in the village.

CHURCH SERVICES: This Sunday there will be a Family Service for both churches at Beckley church, 10am, all welcome.These services are short and friendly so why not go along with your family. On Sunday October 12 there will be a Harvest Thanksgiving Service for the whole parish in Beckley Church at 6pm followed by “Cheese and wine and apple pie” in the church.
