The next Quiz Night at the hall will be on Saturday May 10. The Quiz starts at 7.30pm, entrance is £5.50 which includes a Ploughman’s supper, bring your own drinks!! These Quiz Nights are always good fun - come along and join in.

The annual Flower Festival will be held over the Bank Holiday 24 - 26 May 10 am – 5pm with a family service at 10 am on Sunday followed by the Morris Dancers.There will be the usual plant stall - contributions of plants or cut flowers for sale will be much appreciated. Last year they sold out very quickly, especially the vegetable plants! Please leave flowers for arranging in the church by Friday May 23, buckets - with water - will be left in the porch.Refreshments will be served in the stable area & Audrey Dent will be delighted with offers of cakes or help on the day. Children’s activities include ‘Having a Go’ at making their own flower arrangement.

Peter Maylam will be displaying some of his wooden curios, much interest was shown last year. Do come along & enjoy the floral arrangements, chat with friends and help raise funds for the preservation of our lovely Norman Church.

Come and enjoy an evening of music with Peasmarsh & District WI Choir on Friday May 9 in Peasmarsh Memorial Hall at 7.30pm. Entry at the door £7 including refreshments. Raising funds for the Royal Marsden cancer charity, we will be performing a wide range of musical items for your enjoyment.

The Ferry Road Health Centre PPG together with the Rye Medical Centre PPG are running an event given by Mr. Roger Plail, Consultant Urologist, East Sussex Healthcare Trust, entitled ‘Robots, Lasers, Iceballs; the changing face of urological surgery’. This will be held on Wednesday May 14 at 6pm for 6.30pm at Rye Community Primary School (car parking off Love Lane).All are welcome and refreshments will be provided.

There will be a service of Holy Eucharist at Peasmarsh church this Sunday at 10am.
