Meanwhile you can make your enquiries or bookings on the website www.peasmarshmh.org.uk or contact the caretaker, Jackie Brooks on [email protected] or 222654 (evenings only please.)

Volunteers for the new “speedwatch” project will shortly be going for training in the use of speed cameras. This is yet another step in efforts to reduce speeding through the village, and the parish council is awaiting quotes from the Highways department for other traffic calming measures at the east end of the village.

The new bench at the top of Flackley Ash hill is proving popular, and before long we hope there will be another one by the bus stop outside the hall.

After an unfortunate delay the new kickabout goal should be up at the recreation ground this week. It is a shame that it didn’t arrive in time for the summer holidays but there should still be plenty of chances to enjoy it.

The service at Peasmarsh church this Sunday will be Holy Eucharist at 3pm. Also volunteers are needed for the churchyard clearance party at 2pm, tea and cakes provided!
