Peasmarsh

Mary Hitchins, 2 The Old Hop Gardens

Next Sunday, August 11 there will be another “Working Party” in the churchyard, from 2pm, with tea and cakes on offer for the volunteers. This of course will be subject to the weather, but we are hoping the rain will hold off and we shall be able to get as much done as we did this time last year, when so many people turned up and helped to tidy up our lovely churchyard.

It doesn’t matter whether you come with a chainsaw or a pair of secateurs. Every little helps. There are also machines/tools on site which you could use. This is not only a useful community exercise. It is a chance to meet other residents and find out more about the village.

The service this Sunday at Peasmarsh church will be Holy Eucharist at 3pm; both the 8am and 10am services will be at Beckley.
