I think it is safe to say that we have all had enough snow now.

The Rye and District Association of the National Trust’s Talk this month is a humorous look at one man’s experiences in the British army. Little Red Monkey is presented by Chris Bonsall on Thursday March 21. This talk will be held at Brede Village Hall commencing at 2.30 pm. The Hall is located off the A28 between Broad Oak crossroads and the Citroen garage. There is ample parking and good access for disabled people. There is an entrance fee of £2.00 for members and £3.00 for non-members, which includes refreshments after the talk.

The Rye and District Association of the National Trust also have a VIP Tour of the Pompeii and Herculaneum exhibition and other galleries at the British Museum on Wednesday April 10. Services this Sunday at Peasmarsh church will be Holy Eucharist at 10am and Evensong at 3pm.
