2 The Old Hop Gardens

It was lovely to see the church so full on Sunday for the Remembrance Day service. The sun was shining through the stained glass windows; it was a beautiful day and a moving service. We must never forget.

I received this heartfelt plea - “Where have all the warblers gone? Only three of us turned up last Wednesday to Yvonne’s singing group - she has to pay for the hire of the Pavilion, so won’t continue if more don’t come. Such a shame - it’s only for fun! Even if you don’t think you can sing, you never know - come and try!” The singing group takes place on Wednesdays, 2.00 - 3.30pm at Peasmarsh Pavilion, all welcome!

Artists of the Rother Valley Christmas Art Show will be taking place at The Muddy Duck in Northiam over the weekend of November 24/25, 11am until 5pm. After the success of last year’s show this group of artists and makers are returning to the Muddy Duck. This is an opportunity to collectively view and buy the work of these artists/makers from the Rother Valley including Carol Mitchell a Peasmarsh artist! Paintings (both original & prints), Photographs, Etchings, Jewellery, Ceramics, Glass and Cards. There will be live jazz in the bar on the Sunday between 1pm and 3pm - Maureen Connett and Songwaves; entry is free, for more information visit www.rothervalleyartists.co.uk.

Also remember the Bella&me evening which is fund raising for the Flying Start PreSchool - Monday November 26 at the school, 7.30 - 9.30pm. Admission is only £1 on the door, which includes a free drink, all welcome. For more information please ring the Pre School on 230325 option 3.

The services at Peasmarsh church this Sunday will be Holy Eucharist at 10am and Evensong at 3.30pm.
