Peasmarsh village voice

On the day of writing this column (Tuesday) Tony Curd from our village will be carrying the Olympic Torch in Bexhill - the sun is shining at the moment, hope it stays that way for Tony and that all went well.

The last week of school for most children is now over, fingers crossed we get some decent weather - six weeks of rain won’t be fun for anyone!

I had an email from Jempsons asking me to include the following: We run a daily bus service for customers without their own cars, the elderly and those with mobility problems, to our Peasmarsh Superstore. Our service runs through Peasmarsh every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, calling at The Maltings, but the bus will conveniently stop anywhere if it is safe to do so and is FREE to Peasmarsh residents ! The timetable has recently been revised, more information can be obtained either from the store or from their website - we are lucky to have such a convenient service freely available to us.

The service at Peasmarsh church this Sunday will be at 3.30pm.
