Pedestrian hit by car on Battle High Street
A PEDESTRIAN has been hit by a car in Battle High Street this evening.
The road has been closed to traffic following the accident, which is believed to have happened at around 5pm.
Eyewitnesses say the pedestrian was using the zebra crossing near the fire station when the accident happened.
The extent of the person's injuries are not yet known.
Emergency services are currently on the scene.
