Pedestrian injured after collision with car in Bognor

An elderly pedestrian was seriously injured in an accident in Bognor Regis town centre this week.

The 81-year-old female from Bognor was in collision with a red Vauxhall Omega car in Queensway at 12.40pm on Tuesday (August 18).

She was taken to St Richard's Hospital in Chichester with a suspected broken leg.

The incident happened opposite the Morrisons store. Police are appealing for any witnesses to contact the Chichester road policing unit on 0845 60 70 999.
