Adur Photographic Society sets up virtual club

Adur Photographic Society has decided to set up a virtual club, during the coronavirus lockdown.

Members were due to hold their second meeting of the 2020 season at Southwick Community Centre last Tuesday but, even before the ‘stay at home’ restrictions, it had been decided not to go ahead.

To keep members focused, online tutorials and get togethers have been mooted instead.

Mike Henderson, treasurer, said: “In the present circumstances, it had been decided inappropriate to gather together, even before the government recommendations.

“However, our intrepid leader is offering the concept of a virtual club with tutorials and demonstrations, to be emailed or put on the club website, with follow up exercises and guidance available for beginners where needed.

“When times get tough, the tough get going. Session one is exposure control.”
