Appeal launched to find missing rescue dog Ziggy

Bexhill resident Mary Mackay has launched an appeal to help find her three year old female Rescue dog Ziggy, who went missing from the De La Warr Pavilion on Wednesday November 4.

Mary said: “Despite finding her lead and harness on Galley Hill, which she had managed to get out of, no further sightings have been made.”

Mary was full of praise for Doglost, a volunteer run free service which helps track down lost dogs and re-unite them with their owners.

She said: “I would like to publicly thank Belinda of DogLost Hastings, who I met, following an intensive search for Ziggy. She produced a poster and also loaned a night vision camera to track our dog, should she return to our garden at night.

We are continuing to follow up potential sightings with Belinda’s help and posters are up in Bexhill and St Leonards.”
