5. Sorcha - Saluki cross
Sorcha is a young, inquisitive and energetic dog aged between 18 months to two years. She is 'great' with other dogs and people, and walks well on a lead. Arundawn said she may be happiest living with another canine, unless her humans are around most of the time to keep her company. Sorcha is loving and affectionate, but can be a little 'mouthy' so can't live with young children. Photo: Arundawn

6. Sebastian - nine-month-old Staffie cross
Sebastian is sweet and gentle natured, according to Arundawn. While he can be a little timid, he loves the company of other dogs. Sebastian is ideally seeking a home with another resident dog and is comfortable with children aged ten and over. He has not yet been cat tested. Photo: Arundawn

7. Bugsy - two-year-old mixed breed
Bugsy arrived at Arundawn in a 'heartbreaking state' — 'severely disabled' and suffering from cherry eye, an 'appalling' flea infestation and 'terribly neglected' skin. The charity has described him as 'brave and resilient' and a 'true fighter'. Following some time in foster, he has shown himself to be a loving dog with a sweet temperament. He loves other dogs, though can become overexcited when first meeting a new friend. He is also cat-friendly. Arundawn said: "He really just wants someone to love him and take care of him." 8. Tig - three-year-old Lurcher
Tig is a lovely boy but can be nervous. He is starting to trust people and come out of his shell, according to Arundawn. He needs a home with another dog, as he gains confidence in the presence of other canines. Tig hasn't been tested around cats and can live with children aged seven and above. Photo: Arundawn
