9. Harley - three-year-old American Bulldog
Arundawn describes Harley as 'the most fantastic girl'. She walks well on the lead and is good with other dogs. She loves a cuddle and is great with people of all ages, according to the charity. Photo: Arundawn

10. Larry - one-year-old Lurcher
Larry was a stray who was 'found terrified, injured and wearing a shock collar tightened into his neck', Arundawn said. He is frightened of men and needs a calm, kind home. His new owner should have experience with sighthounds and dogs who 'readily go into flight mode', the rescue said. He would be happiest with at least one other patient dog in his home who can help him learn to trust. Photo: Arundawn

11. Bolt - two-year-old Doberman
Bolt needs continuing training and is a very fast learner. He is great with people, according to Arundawn, and isn't a barker, unless he sees squirrels out the window! He is looking for a home as an only dog, after sadly being attacked while out on a walk. The charity is seeking an owner dedicated to continuing his training. Arundawn said: "He is an absolutely gorgeous dog who will make the most wonderful addition to the right family!" Photo: Arundawn

12. Sam - one-year-old Staffie cross
Sam is dog-friendly, full of boundless energy, delightful and affectionate, according to Arundawn. He thrives on human attention and love but is equally able to occupy himself with his toys at home. He is good with other dogs - even in situations where he is being barked at, he does not retaliate. He’d suit an active family with an equally energetic and playful pup, and owners who understand and have the ability to fulfil his mental and physical stimulation needs.
