More information about each dog can be found here.

1. Alfie - one-year-old Staffie cross
Arundawn said Alfie is 'very sad and subdued' and is desperate to find a foster or forever home. He loves his cuddles and is well-mannered in the home. He loves to play and especially enjoys a squeeky ball. He has been fine with other dogs while at the shelter, but will need owners who can socialise him more. Alfie can live with children aged 12 and above, and cannot live with cats. Photo: Arundawn

2. Betty - six-year-old French Bulldog
Betty is an intelligent, eager to please, loyal little pup, according to her foster carer. She's looking for a child free and dog free home, as she enjoys all the attention to herself. She would ideally love a couple who are looking for a dog who they can give their time, love and attention to. Photo: Arundawn

3. Calypso - nine-month-old Staffie cross
Calypso is a sweet-natured and affectionate young girl who is 'always ready for cuddles'. She loves belly rubs and playing with sticks, balls and other dogs. Calypso is loyal and friendly, gets along well with other dogs, and is described by Arundawn as 'a quiet companion who rarely barks'. Confident both on and off the lead, she enjoys her walks but will need continued recall training. Calypso has so much love to give and is eagerly waiting to find a family to call her own. 4. Boysie - 11-year-old Collie
Boysie 'desperately needs a sofa to live out the rest of his time', Arundawn said. He is partially deaf and partially sighted, and has been waiting in pound kennels for someone to take him in. Arundawn said he likes to rest his head in your hands for a head scratch. Boysie needs a calm home without young children and dogs. Photo: Arundawn
