Award nominated author to talk running and swimming at Burgess Hill library

A bestselling author is set to visit Burgess Hill Library to talk all things running and swimming.

The Sunday Times top ten bestselling author, ghostwriter and broadcaster Alexandra Heminsley will be at the library from 7pm on Wednesday, March 11, to talk about her two books, Running Like a Girl and Leap In, and the link between exercise and good mental health.

Alex has interviewed Jessica Ennis, Paula Radcliffe, and Kyle Edmund, appeared regularly on BBC Radio 2 and has been nominated for the William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award.

Tickets to the ‘Everything you want to know about running and swimming but were afraid to ask’ talk are £3 and can be purchased directly from Burgess Hill Library, 15-19 The Martlets, or by emailing [email protected].

The event is running as part of West Sussex Libraries’ Wellbeing Month, which is happening throughout March, with lots of books and activities to promote the five ways to wellbeing.
