Bexhill emergency road closure - not due to reopen until July 8

A Bexhill road has been closed for emergency repair work.

An East Sussex Highways spokesperson said today (Friday, July 4): "Barrack Road, Bexhill, is currently closed opposite number 50, for UK Power Networks (UKPN) to undertake emergency repairs to cables that power the street lighting.

"The road is anticipated to be reopened by 8 July. Thank you for your patience."
