Brighton neighbours share lottery win

The Whitehawk Way neighbours netted the windfall when BN2 5HE was announced as a Daily Prize winner with People’s Postcode Lottery.

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners. She said: ‘What a lovely way to start the New Year. A huge congratulations to our winners in Brighton! I’m sure they’ll enjoy spending the cash and treat themselves to something special.’

A minimum of 32% of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of People’s Postcode Lottery have raised over £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted by WaterAid which has received over £15.9 million in funding thanks to the players of People’s Postcode Lottery. WaterAid is an international not for profit organisation. Since 1981, WaterAid has remained resolutely focused on tackling the three essentials that transform people’s lives - clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
