Brighton’s North Street to welcome luxury cosmetics retailer

Rituals Cosmetics has signed a 10-year lease on 13 North Street, next to Flying Tiger.

The shop is scheduled to open on October 24, with an official opening planned for October 26.

Hanningtons Estate, which was redeveloped and is managed by real estate company Redevco, includes Hanningtons Lane and areas of East Street and North Street.

The new store opening comes after outdoor clothing brand Finisterre launched a pop-up shop in Hanningtons Lane last month and hummus and pitta bar Humpit Hummus opened at branch in North Street in August.

Portfolio director at Redevco Andrew Foulds says that the team is ‘excited to introduce a dynamic new lifestyle brand to Brighton’.

He said: “Rituals focuses on personal well-being, as well as the well-being of the planet, and is a perfect fit for Brighton’s new retail quarter in the heart of the Lanes.”

“With this latest addition, we now have only one store remaining on North Street, alongside smaller unique shops within Hanningtons Lane.”

Redevco says further businesses joining the Hanningtons Estate are to be announced before Christmas.
