Simon Gale, CEO of Justlife, said: “A huge thanks to the team at Projects and the brilliant Brighton & Hove businesses who have supported the campaign with the excellent prizes. Homelessness affects us all and it takes a whole community response to make a difference. We are excited to partner with such creative and generous spirited companies.”

Mila Brazzi, fundraiser organiser and head of communications at Projects, added: “The services that Justlife provide in support of some of the city’s most vulnerable people is fundamental and has a widespread knock-on effect in helping other services from becoming overwhelmed, such as Brighton’s hospitals.

“It’s a charity that has never been more important to the city as the number of people who depend on its services sadly continues to increase, and as Justlife’s work is often invisible to those of us who are fortunate enough not to need their support, we felt compelled to help raise donations, but above that, raise awareness in our community of the outstanding, fundamental and invisible work the Justlife team are performing daily.”

The raffle took place over the week of the Big Give – a UK-wide initiative that sees donations matched for one week and is a core part of Justlife’s annual Christmas campaign.
