Chichester marks VJ Day anniversary

Chichester has marked the 77th anniversary of VJ Day with an act of remembrance in the city.

Today (Monday, August 15) the Mayor Julian Joy and veterans from the Chichester Branch of the Queen's Regimental Association, led by Dave Tilley, laid wreaths at the Chichester memorial in Litten Gardens.

The event was kept low-key as a result of the Covid pandemic.
