Chichester shop’s virtual fashion show supports homelessness charity Stonepillow

The Virtual Fashion Show features clothing from a curated collection with 100 per cent of every sale made during February being donated to Stonepillow.

Rosie Rose owner Daniel Elsom said: “Although the pandemic has hit us all hard in various ways, it is the most vulnerable amongst us who have suffered the most.

“At a difficult time when the temptation is to focus in, the team at Rosie Rose wanted instead to do something to not only lift spirits, but also support some of the people most at risk from this dreadful virus.

“Stonepillow are an incredible local charity who do so much within our community and we are proud to be raising money to support this worthy cause.”

The collection is modelled by a range of local influencers and business owners including yoga teacher Niki Perry, Southend Barns owner Mariella Fleming, fitness instructor Monique Eastwood, founders of The Collective Helen Cawte and Abby Smith, personal and brand stylist Vicky Booker and entrepreneur Leila Leach.

Each model filmed their catwalk remotely with video production company Feel Good Films creating the final edit.

Stonepillow chief executive Hilary Bartle said: “We really appreciate the support we receive from the local community, particularly during the pandemic when it is a tough time for everyone.

“We are extremely grateful to Rosie Rose for this inspiring fundraising event.

“The funds raised will enable us to continue our vital work supporting the homeless, vulnerably housed and those rough sleeping.

Stonepillow supports and empowers homeless and vulnerable people to achieve sustainable independence and wellbeing.

Working across the Chichester and Arun districts the charity provides a recovery journey for clients which focuses on key areas of health, housing and pathways back into work.

The charity operates hostels and day centres and runs a recovery service, 24 supported accommodations and a rough sleeper outreach team.
