They took part in a sponsored mile-long walk around the college grounds for Think18 as part of Mental Health Awareness Week.
Many of the students have been supported by Think18 during the pandemic, with the charity providing different activities and helping them to develop their communication skills to help enhance their learning as well as improve their mental wellbeing during a challenging time.

Vicky Tucker, lecturer in foundation programmes at Chichester College, said: “The students had been learning about lots of local charities, but they really wanted to support Think18 because they have a personal connection to the organisation.
“Many of them have accessed the charity and been supported by it over the recent lockdowns, so it means a lot to them to be able to give something back.
“They all enjoyed taking part in the mile walk around the college. They ran, they walked – even danced their way around the route.

Tessa Denison, Think18 founder, said: “We were thrilled that the students voted for Think18, the money raised will buy equipment for our Saturday morning activities we are starting, in June, at the Apuldram Centre in Chichester.
“It is so good to see old and new friendships blossom and the Think18 community growing for our young adults, aged 16 to 35.
“As well as running eight Zoom sessions a week and face-to-face activities we are launching ThinkOut, a day service, to get young adults into the community, which is starting in September.
