Pictured are residents in Essenden Road whistling and clapping as a mark of respect to the NHS and our carers.

Across the country people stood on their doorsteps banging saucepans, playing various musical instruments and applauding in what was the third Clap For Carers event.

Each celebration is held at 8pm on Thursday evenings.
