People across Eastbourne broke into applause at 8pm last night (March 26) to say thank you to the NHS.

The phenomenon was captured on video of neighbourhoods showing their appreciation for all the hardworking healthcare staff during the coronavirus outbreak.

One resident sent in their footage of people in Pevensey Road in the town centre.
