Concern over Chichester housing developments

I am writing with concern over the extent to which new housing development is happening in the Chichester surrounding area.

The recent legal challenge that has stopped the new Heathrow runway on the grounds the expansion is ruled ‘unlawful’ on climate grounds.

I notice that some publicity has already surfaced that the A27 roadworks are stopped until an assessment has been completed on climate grounds.

I advocate that all existing and planned housing developments in the Chichester surrounding area are formally halted until their suitability on climate grounds has been assessed and passed.

We currently have a flood alert for the river Lavant and are all aware of the devastation of the floods in the north.
