But now it is turning its hand to producing 2,000 full face masks which will be donated for free to NHS health care services and charitable organisations in the area who are in desperate need during the ongoing cornavirus crisis.

Josh Theed, from the company, said: “We have raised over £1,800 through our Go Fund Me page. Further donations will allow us to continue while there is a demand and urgent need for this PPE.

“This is being funded by Hello Flamingo, and with the help of our wonderful freelancers working on assembly, volunteering for such a great cause. “We would like to say a special thanks to Stylo for sharing the pattern and Finecut Groups for donating materials and cutting service for free.

“To continue in our efforts to help the NHS in the best way we can, we have set up a Just Giving page, to help us manufacture more face shields. You can donate at www.justgiving.com/crowdfunding/flamingofaceshield

“All contributions will go towards the manufacture and safety of the NHS so all help will be truly appreciated. Any donations, no matter how small will make such a difference and we hope you will all support us to carry on the work.”
