Coronavirus: Hastings Mayoral team invite residents to don fancy dress on Easter Saturday to help bring a smile during lock-down

Hastings Mayor Cllr Nigel Sinden and Deputy mayor Cllr James Bacon are inviting hastings residents to to dress up in any form of fancy dress on Saturday April 11.

Cllr Bacon explained: “During this time when so many of us are having to stay at home, Nigel and I are keen to bring the community together and to bring a smile to each other’s faces, via online means.

“The idea is for us to all dress up in some way, at anytime on Saturday April 11, in any form of fancy dress costume. We all know that Hastings loves to dress up. Be as creative, humorous and quirky as you like.

“Please could you then post your photos on your social media accounts, encourage others to do the same and then share these on the official Facebook Event Page, called, ‘Costume For A Smile’.
