Rotary Cuckfield and Lindfield is running the competition – complete with cash prizes – from Monday, May 17 through to Saturday, July 31.

David Wilson, press officer for Rotary Cuckfleid and Lindfield, said: “We’re coming out of lockdown soon, so let’s all have a big smile.

“Rotary Cuckfield and Lindfield works for the community; much of its activity is fundraising for local causes, but this time it is doing it just for fun.

“Create a display made from household objects and display it where passers-by can see it – and give them a smile, or even a laugh.

“Let your imagination run riot, especially the kids.

“There’s no theme, except fun.

“The ideas can come from anything: a book you read in lockdown, something you saw on holiday, a character from a fantasy film.”

The competition is open to all members of the community in the Lindfield and Cuckfield areas, including families, shops, restaurants, and other businesses.
