“With covid still circulating in the local community we continue to operate a red and green department to ensure we provide safe care for our patients.

“To help keep everyone safe we would ask that patients attend the department on their own except for those accompanying minors.

“This is really important as it helps to maintain social distancing in the waiting area which in turn helps to keep both patients and staff safe.”

They can offer medical advice over the phone, advise someone if they need to go to the Emergency Department, or whether there is another more appropriate local service that they can access.

To get help from NHS 111 call 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk (for people aged 5 and over only).
