Demolition underway at Chichester animal rescue centre

Demolition is underway at an Eartham animal rescue centre as it prepares for a £3.42m refurbishment.

The cattery and dog runs have been demolished at the Mount Noddy centre along with the storage sheds.

The cottage pictured is staying - but refurbished into the reception then linked to the main part of the centre, with the visitor car park in front of it.

Refurbishing the buildings will cost £3.42million with more than half the cost provided by a legacy left to the charity branch which covers the Littlehampton, Arundel and Rustington area as well as Chichester.

An appeal was launched in December for the remaining £1.5million.
