Residents at a Horsham retirement village have raised thousands of pounds by arranging a series of fundraising events in aid of St Catherine’s Hospice

As soon as Covid-19 restrictions were lifted, the social committee at Durrants Village, Faygate, wasted no time planning a series of events, with all donations going to the hospice.

Felicity Parsons, fundraiser on the supporter development team at St Catherine’s Hospice, said: “We’re very grateful to everyone at Durrants and Inspired Villages for their support.

“Without people like them supporting the hospice, we wouldn’t be able to offer the care we provide for our patients and their families.”
